Is typically Western, goes back to Germanic Europe (including the current United Kingdom) where will go to the United States and much of the world, but now has  spread to other countries such as China, Japan and Taiwan.

Christmas Crackers are very popular. Acompany many meals over christmas period.Is a color paper tube wich contains a small gift and a joke . The carols sing songs about Jesus and the time when he was born.  Is traditionally too,send Christmas Cards to the family or friends.
