Storage Summary
•   EBS Volumes are virtual drives that live in the cloud and are always
    accessible.
     •   They are mounted as local drives by the cloud instances that will host the Bayesian
         DX web application.
     •   These drives will require no physical maintenance.
     •   Volumes can be added or removed on the fly through a virtual web dashboard.
     •   Additional applications can utilize the same EBS volumes and/or new ones can be
         provisioned quickly.
•   SSDs and HDDs will need to be coupled with a physical server to be
    purchased and hosted by Bayesian DX.
     •   The server hardware will have a larger cost up front.
     •   Servers will require IT maintenance from Bayesian personnel.
          •   The cost of on demand IT resources are not accounted for in this report.
     •   Provisioning additional instances would require the purchase of new servers.
     •   Provisioning additional hard disk space would require the purchase, installation, and
         setup of additional hard drives.
