From 1990-2008, as managing partner of Paul Partners, he oversaw over $250 million in real estate developments including apartments and shopping centers. helps everyone online develop and benefit from trustworthy reputations. As the social-
psychological and cultural bases for The World Table, researched and published The
Way of Openness, a method for real conversations between real people—including critics
and rivals. Arranged angel financing for The World Table PBC software-as-a-service
business. Managing the process of developing and marketing a new conversation
system for trustworthy public interaction that will change the entire Internet
environment.
Us and Them: Religious Rivalry in America, Film Producer
● 2010 to 2012, produced a full length documentary film on current conflicts over
religion and politics in the United States with a budget of $1.5 million, oversaw film
editing, financing and marketing.
Paul Partners – Managing Partner:
● 1990 to 2008, co-managing partner of a real estate development company in Utah and
Arizona building shopping centers, multi-family residential, offices, industrial and land
development projects. These were new developments in suburban areas executed with
the help of outside financial partners. Total value of developments was over
$250,000,000. In 2007 received Best Apartment Design in USA (Pillars of the Industry,
Grand Award) from the National Home Builders Association and the Best Rental
Community in the Nation (Gold Nugget, Grand Award) from the National Associate of
Multifamily Community Developers.
Trammell Crow Company – Intermountain Area Partner:
● 1972 to 1988, was a project development associate, then partner in central Texas and
Utah. Developed with partners eight neighborhood shopping centers.
● From 1980 to 1988 was managing partner for Arizona, Utah, Nevada, and New
Mexico, headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. Conceived, financed, and marketed over
forty office, hotel, shopping and warehouse facilities worth over $650,000,000. Selected
sites, found tenants, arranged financing, oversaw design, construction, and property

2. management, hired and supervised scores of agents and associates with an annual
operating budget of $5,000,000. Trained four successful partners in real estate
development, and was responsible for seventy-five staff employees. Received the
Phoenix Skyline Award for developing projects that improved the community with
high quality design.
Biographical Note
● Retired from full time commercial activities in 1988 to obtain a Ph.D. at the University
of Chicago Committee on Social Thought. In 2000 founed the Foundation for Religious
Diplomacy to help build trust between religious and cultural rivals. Initiatives in Iran,
Egypt, Israel, and the USA. Retired from real estate investment business in 2008.
