Measures of central tendency describes the average or midmost score in a
distribution of scores.
Measures of central tendency provides a lot of important information about
a distribution.
There different types of measuring tools :
Mean
Median
Mode
3. ARITHMETIC MEAN
It is the sum of the values of all observations in a series divided by the number of
items consisting the series and is usually denoted by X .
Mean = Ex/n ,
where
Ex= sum of all observations.
N= number of observations.
Mean = Efd/Ef
