Flour additives serve many purposes, from improving flourās appearance and the doughās workability to giving flour a longer shelf life. These benefits mean that people have access to more varieties of food and safe foods are available to more people. These additives are not designed primarily to improve the health of consumers, however; that is the role of vitamins and minerals added to flour in the fortification process.
One of the Region's key roles is to manage future growth in Waterloo Region and ensure necessary municipal infrastructure and services are in place, such as water and wastewater.
In June 2009, Regional Council approved the new Regional Official Plan with approximately 300 hectares of land designated for employment uses in what is known as the East Side Area. The East Side Area is located on the eastern edge of Waterloo Region, at the border of Woolwich Township and Cambridge, near the Region of Waterloo International Airport.
In November 2010, the Region began a Master Environmental Servicing Plan (MESP) and Community Plan for the East Side Area in cooperation with the City of Cambridge, the Township of Woolwich, the City of Kitchener and the Grand River Conservation Authority. This integrated process will include:
Municipal Water and Wastewater Service Assessment
Transportation System Assessment
Subwatershed Study and Master Drainage Plan for Freeport Creek and Tributary to the Grand
Utilities Assessment
Fiscal Impact Analysis
Staging and Implementation Strategy

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).
Speakers:
Bob Boule
Robert Boule is a technology enthusiast with PASSION for technology and making things work along with a knack for helping others understand how things work. He comes with around 20 years of solution engineering experience in application security, software continuous delivery, and SaaS platforms. He is known for his dynamic presentations in CI/CD and application security integrated in software delivery lifecycle.
Gopinath Rebala
Gopinath Rebala is the CTO of OpsMx, where he has overall responsibility for the machine learning and data processing architectures for Secure Software Delivery. Gopi also has a strong connection with our customers, leading design and architecture for strategic implementations. Gopi is a frequent speaker and well-known leader in continuous delivery and integrating security into software delivery.

21. āOne of my housemates just had his ļ¬rst day at Atlassian today, and
he came home talking about how when he arrived his workstation and user
accounts were already ready to go, and he had a desk with a welcome
card and some chocolates. He was really buzzed about working there.
I'm sure there are a lot of people directly and indirectly responsible for that
experience, but I know how this kind of culture tends to start at the
top. I just wanted to say congratulations, because it sounds like you've
created the kind of environment where your staff feel valued from the
second they walk in the door, and want to brag to their friends when
they get home.ā
