Innovative Six IncorporationInc. introduces their new product called WALI, a smart water level indicator that alerts users when their water tank is full to prevent water wastage. The company was founded by six entrepreneurs with a vision to convert all water tanks in Bangladesh to smart tanks by 2023. They have secured a patent for their technology and plan to market directly to consumers and through partnerships with large water tank producers. Their financial projections estimate sales of 120,000 units in the first year with profitability achieved within two years of operations.
Runwal Housing Group and US based CarVal Investors have entered into a joint investment to form a special purpose vehicle Runwal Housing & Townships Pvt. Ltd. CarVal Investors has invested 8 million US Dollars in Runwal Housing Group. These funds will be utilized to complete the Runwal Seagull project of 696 flats at Hadapsar. This is amongst one of the few FDI projects in Real Estate at Pune. Mr. Sanjay Runwal, Managing Director of the Runwal Housing Group and Mr. Mujib Mundewadi Director of Carval Investors announced this on the occasion of the launch of the II Phase of the project Runwal Seagull at Hadapsar.
Mr. Sanjay Runwal also announced a unique Mega Saver Offer for customers coinciding with the 7th anniversary of the Runwal Housing Group. The scheme offers saving from Rupees 3.25 lakhs to 5.18 lakhs to the customers booking flats under this scheme. Under this scheme the customer will not have to pay Pre EMIs to the financial institution from which he takes a home loan till the possession of the flat. This will be borne by the Company. Besides the savings this scheme will also offer the customer a total payment holiday upto possession which will benefit him to avoid the double burden of paying rent and the Pre EMIs. It would also free him from the compulsion of looking for a ready possession flat to merely avoid Pre EMI burdens. This scheme is available for a limited period and is an assured saving for the customer and not a discount, Mr. Runwal clarified.

We will be operating in the Water Tank industry of the country. It is a very much competitive
industry with lots of customers and a number of producers.
We will introduce a completely new line of product, a new technology, an innovation in the
traditional water tanks available in the market. Thus we will attract new customers not only
for the technology being new but also for its being ecofriendly as it eliminates water and
power wastage.
10. Market Analysis
If we look at the demographics, we will find that every building owner/land lord inside Dhaka
city has a minimum of one water tank installed in his/her building. So we are targeting the
middle class and the higher class people who have the capacity and need of purchasing their
own water tank or already own one.
Gazi Tanks of Gazi Group has signed a deal with us for
directly purchasing our product and using it in their
future production line for resale, as a Business (B2B)
product. We have also received offers from couple of
more lead water tank producers in our country willing to
use our technology in their future productions.
On the contrary, as our goal is to convert all the
traditional water tanks in our country into Smart Water
Tanks by 2023, we will also market our technology
directly to the consumers as a Consumer (B2C) product.
11. Market Strategies
Inc.
We intend to advertise our products using the co-marketing strategy along
with Gazi Group. Gazi Group and I6 Inc. will jointly hold campaigns that will
promote “SAVE WATER” along with our products.
Other than these, some other marketing strategies we are
taking are:
1. Free delivery and installation
2. 3 months of free testing to the customers who already
own a tank.
3. Advertisement through solar powered billboards.
12. What makes us invincible?
We have completed all the formalities and now hold the patent of our
technology for the term of 10 years from 1st April, 2015 under the Patents and
Designs Act, 1911.
This means, any organization who wants to market our technology within 10
years from today, needs to come under our terms before hovering in the
market.

14. Pricing and Distribution
Our pricing strategy is absorption pricing strategy, in which all costs are
recovered. The price of the product includes the variable costs of each
item plus a proportionate amount of the fixed costs.
Our total startup cost is BDT 34,332,900 and as we do not have any
competitor in the business market, we have set the prices of our products
accordingly, considering the demands of our target market.
Our business will go for direct selling because we will have access to all
our customers and keep all revenue under the control of our company.
We will have our own transportation system through which we will
deliver our product to the consumers.
15. Finance and Funding
We, the six entrepreneurs of I6 Inc., have supplied the start-up capital 30 million
to meet the start-up expenses and the initial operating capital.
Our start up expenses will be distributed equally to 5 years.
We intend to sell 120,000 units in the first year, and have projected a sale of
240,000 units at the end of the 2nd year with a total sales earning of BDT
60,000,000.
After 2 years, we projected a sales revenue of BDT 1,374,080.
The name of our business is I6 Incorporation. It is a privately held corporation, aiming to joint-venture with top water tank and water pump producers of the country.
This product will introduce such a technology which has never before been launched in our country.
As it is going to reduce the wastage of energy and a scarce natural resource – water, it is likely going to be well accepted by the people all over the country.
Also, its low cost maintenance will cause its increase in demands.
We will provide 1 year full replacement and service warranty for our technology and also have plans to introduce a warranty purchasing service for our customers. The warranty purchasing service will work like a general insurance service. In exchange of the extra sum of money, we will provide them with extended replacement and service warranty for 4 more years.
We will attract our new customers through promotions and advertisements of our product. As our product is ecofriendly and provides environment sustainability, customers will be encouraged to avail our product.
