 We will meet Monday to Thursday at lunch from
12:50 to1:20 pm in room A209.

4. LEO CLUB:
 1st meeting for NEW members only – Today at 1pm in
A302 (Fonseca’s room).
 Please be on-time and bring your $5 dues. All
returning members please check your email tonight for
updates and upcoming events.

5. S CLUB:
 Meeting today at 1:00 pm in room 210. Service
activities, snacks, and door prizes.
 See Mr. Fong if any questions.

6. INTERNATIONAL CLUB:
 We will have our first informational meeting on Friday,
Sept. 8th at lunch in room A222.
 Come and learn more about the club and meet the
other members!

7. ACADEMY ORATORICAL SOCIETY:
 There will be a meeting at 1:00 p.m. in A301 today,
specifically for all those in grades 9-12 interested in
joining in the poetry club.
 There will also be an Academy Oratorical Society
meeting on Thursday next week for students in gr. 7
and 8 who are interested in joining intermediate
speech. It starts at 1:00 p.m. in A301.

8. HIGH SCHOOL SPEECH:
 There will be a meeting on Friday, Sept. 8, for all those
in Gr. 9-12 who are interested in joining in speech this
year.
 It starts at 1:00 p.m. in A301.

9. PUNAHOU JROTC CADETS:
 Reminder to the Punahou JROTC cadets and
potential cadets: First class is tomorrow.
 A school van is available to take cadets at 2:00 pm. to
Punahou.
 Meet the van in the parking lot section by Room 200.
Be on time for the van.

10. SENIORS & JUNIORS:
 Check the College visit listing on Naviance. We have
about 55 colleges already on the schedule. Upcoming
visits include University of the Pacific, Boston
University, Linfield College, Portland State and Hawaii
Pacific University, Georgetown University and
University of Dublin.
 Remember to have your teacher sign the permission
form ONE day before visit. Copies in Mrs. Carey and
Mr. Fong’s office.

11. ACADEMY UNCORKED FUNDRAISER:
 Adults who are volunteering at the event have a training meeting
on Tuesday, Sept. 5th 4:30pm in the Conference Room.
 Students who are volunteering at the event have a training
meeting on Friday, Sept. 8th 12:40pm in the Conference Room
during lunch.
 Tickets are still available for $75 per faculty/staff and same rate
for +1 guest! Contact Emily in the Development Office for more
information.
