Teachers and mentors form the core of existence. This is the truth, the only truth, whatever be the form of
definition that we may choose to have.
It could be as Khalil Gibran wrote: “The teacher who is indeed wise does not bid you to enter the house of his
wisdom but rather leads you to the threshold of your mind.”
Or as Maria Montessori expressed: The greatest sign of success for a teacher… is to be able to say, “The children
are now working as if I did not exist.”
The fact that stays on is that a master can tell you what he expects of you. A teacher, though, awakens our own
expectations. Teaching, thus, is the greatest act in optimism. It’s a proud feeling to be a teacher has I have
experience .
I am very happy to pin down my words on the special occasion of Teachers Day.

It’s my pleasure to put my word Again, but this time on Wonderful occasion.”Teacher Day”.
Thomas carruthers said that a teacher is one, who makes himself progressively unnecessary, where as Edward
Bulwer Define the best teacher is the one who suggests rather than dogmatizes, and inspires his listener with the
wish to teach himself. But I think a good teacher is a master of simplification and an enemy of simplism. What
the teacher is, more important than what he teaches. One looks back with appreciation to the brilliant teachers,
but with gratitude to those who touched our human feelings. Though curriculum is so much necessary raw
material, but warmth is the vital element for the growing plant and for the soul of the child.
May not say it always. But, I mean it whenever I say it. Thank You Teacher, My First teacher . My sweet
“Aai-Pappa”. Today What I am is just because of them, the good teacher explains, the superior teacher
demonstrates but the great teacher inspires. And yes my Parents are my inspiration. They Guided Me When I
Was Lost, they Supported Me When I Was Weak, they has Enlightened me all through. Let us salute the
nation builder, Let us salute the creator of our destiny, and Let us salute our teachers.

4. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan (5 September 1888, Tiruttani, now in Tamil Nadu – 17 April 1975) was an Indian
philosopher and statesman who was the second President of India from 1962 to 1967.[1] He was the first Vice President
of India (1952–1962).
One of India's most influential scholars of comparative religion and philosophy,
Radhakrishnan built a bridge between the East and the West by showing how the
philosophical systems of each tradition are comprehensible within the terms of the other.
He wrote authoritative exegeses of India's religious and philosophical literature for the
English speaking world. His academic appointments included the King George V Chair of
Mental and Moral Science at the University of Calcutta (1921–1931) and Spalding
Professor of Eastern Religion and Ethics at Oxford University (1936–1952).
Radhakrishnan was knighted in 1931 but ceased to use the title "Sir" after India attained
independence. Among the many other honours he received were the Bharat Ratna (1954 )
and the Order of Merit (1963). His birthday is celebrated in India as Teachers' Day on 5
September since 1962.
Radhakrishnan stated that Western philosophers, despite all claims to objectivity, were influenced by theological
influences of their own culture. He wrote books on Indian philosophy according to Western academic standards, and
made all efforts for the West to give serious consideration to Indian philosophy. In his book An Idealist View of Life, he
made a powerful case for the importance of intuitive thinking as opposed to purely intellectual forms of thought. He is
well known for his commentaries on the Prasthana Trayi namely, the Bhagavadgita, the Upanishads and the Brahma
Sutra.
