Black Sheep Bride (BSB) is a platform aimed at socially conscious newly engaged couples who wish to make a positive impact through their wedding choices and vendor selections. The initiative seeks to redirect portions of the wedding industry's significant budget towards causes that can enact real change, encouraging brides to support charitable endeavors. Through a structured vendor membership and fundraising process, BSB aims to create awareness and inspire couples to use their wedding as an opportunity for global good.

2. What is Black Sheep Bride (BSB)?
• A web space devoted to newly
engaged couples that are socially
conscious and looking to use this
once in a lifetime experience (their
wedding) to help change the world
(with their spending, vendor choices).
• A movement of like-minded wedding
vendors, across the globe, partnered
together and showcasing their
business, while providing awareness
to the causes they support with each
wedding booking they receive.

3. Why do we need BSB?

The wedding industry makes 60 billion dollars
annually on completely expendable budgets
and unnecessary spending.
•
The average US wedding costs nearly 30,000$
for one day of food, photos and a fun party.
•
While the day is special, there are awesome
ways to make your wedding change into world
change.
•
EX: Over 3/5th’s of the world’s population live
off of less than a dollar a day… The WFP
estimates it would cost 170$ to feed one
person for an entire year… if the average bride
dedicated even 1% of their wedding budget to
a good cause, that could potentially feed 2
people for an entire year.

4. How will it work?

STAGE 1: Traffic generation/ Fund
Raising… 20 vendors from each state
will be hand selected and invited to
join the vendor list on the Black Sheep
Bride Vendor Guide.
– The invited vendors will be able to
donate as much or as little in order to
become a vendor, until we have raised
$10,000.
– The first $10,000 donated will be 100%
invested in the present cause of our

• Brides will be able to access the
website and find inspiration, causes
to support, products and supporting
vendors, feature weddings to help
them use their wedding change for
world change.
STAGE 2: Once we’ve reach our fund
raising goal, the annual vendor
membership cost will go into effect
(250$ for a year membership)… 50% of
that annual membership cost will go
into our supporting cause/s pockets,
while the other 50% will be for
administrative purposes.
