3. What is WASCA?
• WASCA is the Wageningen Association of Colombian Alumni
• We are a Colombian-Dutch network of professionals formed by
alumni, students and employees of Wageningen University
• Non profit, non commercial, politically and religiously neutral
4. How did this initiative start?
• Growing interest of the Netherlands in Colombia specially in agro-environmental
topics
• We are one of the biggest groups of Colombians in the Netherlands
• We have in common: Life Sciences + Colombia + Wageningen UR
• Together we are a powerful force to transform the agro-environmental sector in
Colombia

• Mobilize and maintain a Colombian-Dutch network of agro-
environmental professionals

1. Attends 50% of WASCA meetings. Informs when cannot attend
2. Shares knowledge and experience for the benefit of WASCA
3. Complies with the rules of WASCA
4. Promotes the objectives of WASCA
5. Fosters the success of WASCA and its members
6. Pays the fee (20 euros not refundable)
