ABOUT JAUNTY ROADS
We believe Travel goes beyond checking the boxes. Where you go, with whom, how, where you stay, the people you meet

The team behind Jaunty Roads is composed of MBA’s from premier institutes in India who have many years of corporate
experience behind them. What’s more significant though is that we have spent a lot of our time outside work exploring the
length and breadth of India - driving, hiking and exposing ourselves to a lot of different places, activities, cuisines, cultures
and many diverse experiences, some of them life altering.

WEEKEND WILDERNESS CAMP: JAYAMANGALI
Jaunty Roads invites you for a weekend camp at a secluded and sparsely visited Blackbuck Reserve, 150 Km’s North of
Bangalore, with amazing bio – diversity. The itinerary:
DAY 1
- Start early from Bangalore to beat the traffic, stopover at Dobbespet - just before we get off the highway, for a traditional
breakfast. Thus refuelled we head to Jayamangali, reaching in time for lunch.
-After some rest and recreation we prepare to head off into the reserve. We spend quality time observing the black bucks
and other mammals before heading back to camp to prepare for dinner.
- Dinner under a clear, starlit sky
DAY 2
- An early wake - up call helps us to make the most of the day. Coffee/tea and some biscuits and off we head into the
reserve. There are 127 species of birds to spot in the grasslands and shrub. Head back to camp for breakfast.
- We hit the road again, destination Madhugiri, at 3930 ft reputedly the largest monolith in Asia. A trek up the hill follows,
the gruel rewarded with amazing views of the countryside and the remains of Hyder Ali’s fort.
- Finally, we drive Back to Bangalore and civilization with a lunch halt to reflect on the trip over food.

Cost
For 2 days & 1 Night, Cost for Indian Nationals is INR 3000 PPAI (Per Person All inclusive), ex Bangalore. For foreign nationals
Price is available on request.

1. While all possible care shall be taken, Jaunty Roads shall not be responsible for any delays, injuries, damages, or losses
caused to any traveller in connection with any event including (but not limited to) terrorist activities, social or labour
unrest, mechanical or construction failures or difficulties, diseases, local laws, climatic conditions, criminal acts or
abnormal conditions and developments, or any other actions, omissions and conditions outside the organisers’ control.
2. Guests are responsible for their own health, well - being and medical fitness and that of any minors/dependents
travelling with them. In case of any prevailing health/ medical condition, special cases or situations(including special
diet, exercise, mobility or other needs) pls. discuss with the organisers before booking.
3. Jaunty Roads reserves the right to accept and reject reservations at its discretion.
4. Guests have the option of skipping certain scheduled activities at their discretion; however no reimbursement of
expenses shall be made for such activities. Any activities undertaken in lieu of, or in addition to such scheduled
activities shall be paid for directly by the guest(s) based on actuals.
5. Refunds on cancellation will be subject to amounts actually refunded by vendors. Jaunty Roads reserves the right to
retain an additional amount to recover any losses incurred due to cancellation.
6. Jaunty Roads reserves the right to modify the itinerary to add/exclude activities based on the ground situation.
7. The organisers reserve the right to cancel the trip in case the minimum number of participants is not reached or the
situation turns non – conducive. A full refund will be provided in case of such cancellations.
