2. Adoption Process
All dogs whether young or old can have basic training or socializing
classes. However, there are eligibity requirements for your pet to get into
classes. For information on training classes, visit Toronto Humane Society website

4 Steps of Adoption:
1. Questionnaire - you are asked
to take a questionnaire about
your lifestyle/habits to match
your pet`s needs.
2. Conversation - an
adoption counselor will give
you additional information and
advice on how to deal with animal
behaviour.
3. Meet & Greet - this involves meeting
your pet and the adoption counselor checks how
you handle a leash.
4. Finalize adoption - finalizing the adoption
process
Vaccination Clinic Hours:
Monday - Friday: 4:30pm –
8:00pm (last appointment at
7:45pm)
Saturday: 10:00am – 2:00pm
(last appointment at 1:45pm)

- 180 000 stray dogs and cats are
homeless, neglected and abandoned.
- This reduces the overpopulation of
animals, most often cats have the highest re-
production rate.
- Breeders are not accepted in the clinic
What Can You Do?
- Search around your area.
- Post “LOST” signs in the
neighbourhood.
- Enter the municipal pound
(your pet might be found in
animal shelters).
- General Donation (60 cents/day)
($18/month) helps support the
basic needs of animals.
- Anyone (18+) can volunteer to
help assist in feeding,
walking and
training animals.
- Become a Member.
