3. INTRODUCTION
The origin of this presentation is of number of
functions which are relevant to the issue of pollutants
and their potential impact on large number of students.
To manage and control activities that may affect of go
green campus.
To provide and regulate ecologically sustainablility use
of campus.
To encourage public appreciation, understanding and
enjoyment of the campus enivornment when compared
to other universities.
To encourage and permit, scientific research in the
campus on technology(i.e e-bikes).
4. Pollution is the introduction of contaminants into the natural
environment that cause adverse change
Pollution control is a term used in environmental management. It
means the control of emissions and effluents into air, water or soil.
Pollution prevention (P2) is any practice that reduces, eliminates, or
prevents pollution at its source. P2, also known as "source
reduction," is the ounce of prevention approach to waste
management
INTRODUCTION
5. ABSTRACT
Our research study is to find out the various sources that impact pollution in the NITW.
Listed out Preventive measures to act against Pollution.
Collected 40 sample from Students and NITW Administration.
Our aim is to know about the Perception of Students and NITW Administration about
its Current Environment.
We have done a survey using Business research Methodologies to find out the opinion
of Student and Administration towards NITW Environment.
Completely focused on Prevention of Pollution and implementations towards making
the campus Clean
6. In this we analyze or discuss research previously published by scientist and academicians
rather than reporting novel research results.
Review article comes in the form of systematic reviews and literature reviews and are a form
of secondary literature.
Systematic reviews determine an objective list of criteria, and find all previously published
original research papers that meet the criteria. They then compare the results presented in
these papers.
Students and faculty members at Pacific Lutheran University hold math classes in a
building without a carbon footprint.
Staff members at the University of Washington drive hybrid cars and may soon be able to
fill up other motor pool vehicles with biodiesel.
In some cases, colleges are complying with government environmental and energy-
consumption rules and saving money by conserving. But campuses also have been moved
to act because of a responsibility -- not just to the environment but also to their students.
LITERATURE REVIEW
7. In 2012, Students at the University of California Santa Barbara have come
together and made a courageous statement about the world they want for their
future with the launch of the Plastic Free Campuses (PFC) project by students.
Washington undergraduates students are exploring how to use cooking oil from
campus eateries to Fuel University Cars.
Engineering undergraduates at Seattle University developed a Solar panel system
that collects enough sunlight to Power an Energy-Efficient home for One year.
Student body at Western Washington University agreed to pay up to $10.50 a
quarter to buy renewable electricity becoming one of the first in the state to go
100 percent green on the main campus.

10. HYPOTHESIS
Every true experimental design must have this statement at the
core of its structure, as the ultimate aim of any experiment.
The hypothesis is generated via a number of means, but is usually
the result of a process of inductive reasoning where observations
lead to the formation of a theory. Scientists then use a large battery
of deductive methods to arrive at a hypothesis that
is testable, falsifiable and realistic.
12. TESTING โ CHI-SQUARE TEST
A chi-squared test, also referred to as test (or chi-square test), is
any statistical hypothesis test in which the sampling distribution of the test
statistic is a chi-square distribution when the null hypothesis is true.
It is often constructed from a sum of squared errors, or through the sample
variance.
Test statistics that follow a chi-squared distribution arise from an assumption of
independent normally distributed data, which is valid in many cases due to
the central limit theorem.
It Can then be used to reject the hypothesis that the data are independent.

๏ผ ALTERNATIVE HYPOTHESIS: Age is dependent on parking the vehicle at NIT main
gate
Chi-Square = 9.83425
Degree of Freedom = 12
As the chi-square value is less than the tabulated value at 0.05 level of
significance, Null hypothesis is Rejected. Therefore Age is dependent on the
Sample who desire to park the vehicle at NIT main gate.

๏ผ NULL HYPOTHESIS: Occupation is independent on using e-Rickshaw in the campus
๏ผ ALTERNATIVE HYPOTHESIS: Occupation is dependent on using e- Rickshaw
Chi-Square = 12.55186 Degree of Freedom = 12
As the chi-square value is less than the tabulated value at 0.05 level of
significance, Null hypothesis is Rejected. Hence Occupation is dependent on the
Sample who desire to use e-Rickshaw.
