Two amateur cyclists, Ian Edmonds and Robin Townsend, have been suspended from sport for four years for anti-doping violations. Edmonds admitted to attempting to use testosterone and nandrolone, which were seized in a package addressed to him. Townsend tested positive for the banned stimulant modafinil and erythropoietin (EPO) at an event in 2015. Both cyclists' violations were uncovered by the UK Anti-Doping agency through testing and intelligence gathering.
