TEACHING ACTIVITY
While I was at Hamdard Hospital as Senior Registrar and during my residency
training at Baqai and at NICH, I used to deliver lectures, tutorials, academic and
training sessions. Since 2004 at AKUH, I have been involved in clinical teaching at
the Campus, local and at national forum along with few sessions internationally. I
have been involved in teaching the medical students, Interns, residents, SMOs, ED
3. Nursing, Faculty and Paramedical staff during the last 10 years of my academic
services at AKUH.
Under Graduate Teaching:
*Under graduate teachings at AKU for Phase III students. Clinical, bed side, hands-on
along teachings along with lectures, group discussions and PALS and ACLS code
*Contributed to undergraduate MCQ bank, OSCE stations and participated in OSCE
for medical students rotating in emergency medicine on quarterly bases.
Graduate Teaching:
*From 2006, I have been involved in teachings of residents and interns of ED and
rotating resident of Pediatric department. Other than lectures and tutorials, clinical
and bedside teachings were few of the main components.
Post Graduate Teaching:
*Residency Coordinator DEM and First EM Supervisor for CPSP
* Developed comprehensive pool of MCQs and SEQs for EM exam at CPSP
*Conducted IMM and FCPS II examination at CPSP
*Developed and organized Paediatric Emergency Core for rotating Paediatric
