The Filoform Line Taps are manufactured from a strong copper
alloy, and are designed for use on Stranded and Solid Conductors.
They are ideally suited for use in our range of Cast Resin Branch
Joints, and are an integral part of the CPJ Cathodic Protection
Joint.
The combination of the hexagonal bolt and nut, offers a secure
connection with the cores, maintains constant pressure and is
easily applied.
Constant fore springs are the ideal method to complete electrical
continuty across the joint on armoured power cables for straight
or branch joints.
Using constant force springs is an easy and reliable way to earth
the cable joint as they constantly exert pressure on the earth
braid to achieve a reliable continuity.
All our springs are manufactured from Stainless Steel to BS EN
10151, Grade 1.4310.
