Hazel Grace, a teenage girl with thyroid cancer, attends a weekly cancer support group where she meets and befriends Augustus Waters, who had osteosarcoma in his leg which was amputated. They begin spending time together and develop feelings for one another. Augustus learns of Hazel's favorite book which ends abruptly and promises to help her track down the author to find out the ending. He offers to use his one wish from a cancer foundation to take them to Amsterdam to meet the author in person. Hazel struggles with the idea of starting a relationship given her fragile health condition.

named Patrick. In thissupport group,Hazel has onlyone friend named Isaac - who
has eye cancer. Afterwards, in the next meeting, Isaac came with his friend,
Augustus Waters, who also has a cancer but he started to "overcome" from it
.Augustus and Hazel stare at each otherin very tense eye contact.
In Support Group,Augustus says that hefears oblivionand Hazel goeson a rant
about oblivionthat catcheshis attention.Support Group wraps up.
Afterward, Augustus makes hisway over to Hazel and begins a properconversation.

disappointed to seeher motheralreadywaiting in theparking lot. And she said to
her that she has no life. When she said so, it seems to hurt her mother’sfeelings. So
for settle thisargument, her motheroffered to go to see a movie
After the movie, Hazelhad many text messages from Augustus on her phone.He
has finished An ImperialAffliction. A few hours later, she called him, expecting to
talkmore about the book—but sheheard crying in thebackground. Hetold her to
come over because Isaac is having a breakdown.
When she came into thebasement Isaac is playing video games, and he is not doing
well. Because Monica (hisgirlfriend) has dumped him and he's about to go blind
Then Isaac goes berserk and starts kicking things until Augustus encourages himto
start destroying allthe trophiesin thebasement.

wasted theirnight on it. Afterwards Hazel went to see Isaac on thehospital-afterhis
surgery, now heis a blindman -he was very depressed about Monica (His ex) and
she tried to cheer him up .In the next morning Hazelreceived an email from Van
Houten and hewrote to her that ifshe ever finds herself in Amsterdam, he'dbe
happyto talkto her about theend of theplot.

4. TheGenieInstead, she calls Augustus who suggests using her Wish from
n Saturday,when Hazelis at ao.Unfortunately, Hazel alreadyused hersFoundation
farmer's market with her parental units, Augustus called and said that he's at her
house, true to his word, he was waiting on thedriveway with a bouquet of flowers,

point she's going to blowup and she doesn't want thereto bea lot ofcasualties

because she's afraid of what she'll put him through.He texted backthat it's okay.
Then Hazel's parents came into her room and tellher how amazing she is .Shewent
