1. My First Day at Claymont Preschool

2. My name is Edgar, and today is my first day of preschool.

3. I’m going to make so many new friends and do fun things!

4. Although we have snack time at school, I’m always sure to eat a
good breakfast so I have energy to play when I arrive. Before I
go, I will make sure to take my backpack and wear my tennis
shoes, and I will write my name on my jacket, too.

5. Once I arrive at school, I am greeted by so many nice people; we are
all really nice to each other, too. The teachers are friendly and help
all of us kids.

6. I play with Zachary the most. I love to share toys with him.

7. Sometimes, the teachers help us with fun projects.

8. Today, I’m working with Tessa. She’s a little quiet, but she’s
really fun when I talk to her.

9. We’re going to see a different teacher now. She teaches us
music. It’s my favorite part of the day.

10. Next, we go outside. I’m playing a game with Zachary and
Mikaela.

11. When we go back inside, I keep playing with Mikaela and
Zachary. I have made two new friends.

12. I see Tessa playing by herself, so I’ll ask if she wants to help us
build a tower.

13. We are all having a lot of fun together.

14. School’s ended now so my parents are coming to get me.
I’m sad to leave my new friends, but I’ll be back tomorrow!
