300 mile radius of the local South Plains Biomedical Services office.
 Instructed lower level Biomedical Equipment Technicians (BMETs) on the proper
calibration and preventative maintenance procedures for several pieces of equipment,

$309,766 supporting healthcare for approximately 13,000 military personnel.
 Coordinated installation of new dental lights with facilities management; 14 lights
installed valued at $35,000
 Performed product recalls on all pieces of equipment, coordinating with manufacturers,
equipment custodians, and maintenance staff to keep all equipment functioning properly.
 Completed upgrade and recall on all 24 Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) on
base and updated points of contact for the Public Automated Defibrillator (PAD)
program.
 Responded to emergency power outage. Connected seven refrigerators and freezers in

personnel and ensured safety of 1,300 employees.
 Supported 12 military installations in and around Alaska, ensuring availability of 2,000
pieces of equipment for patient care.
 Troubleshot and maintained four sterilizers in the operating room valued at $281,150.
Dramatically reduced contract costs.
 Led urgent device alert for 179 infusion pumps in the medical facility. Updated software
and prevented medication delivery error.
 Maintained two plasma sterilizers in the facility valued at $100,000 each. Slashed
