1. Blood Splatter
The pattern of blood fall can tell us a
great amount about how and where
the victim died.
If you have completed your blood
analysis use the pipette and a ruler to
create three blood drop patterns.
From 5cm high drop one single drop
of blood on a sheet of white paper.
Make sure you write the height on
the paper.
From 15cm high drop one single drop
of blood on a sheet of white paper.
Make sure you write the height on
the paper.
From 35cm high drop a single drop of
blood onto a white paper. Make sure
you write the height on the paper.
What observable differences are
there between each of these blood
splatters? What do you think would
happen if you varied the angle of the
paper when you dropped the blood?
