Ashe, a college student, becomes enamored with a beautiful blonde girl she consistently encounters in various locations around the city. Despite her attempts to approach the girl, misunderstandings and distractions prevent their interactions, leading to comedic and awkward situations. The narrative explores themes of attraction, friendship, and the unpredictability of chance encounters in urban life.

2. FADE IN:
INT. 28TH STREET SUBWAY STATION- MORNING
Ashe gets off train and heads to her college. She is
visibly tired with her hair messy and a coffee in her
hand. She wears casual sweatpants. A blonde girl who is
beautiful gets off of the train and walk up the stairs.
Ash is immediately attracted to her. Ash trails the
blonde girl who walks in the same direction as Ashe’s
school until Ashe needs to make a right. The blonde girl
walks straight. Ashe meets her friends, Sydney who is a
transfer student from Ireland and Sam, a golden haired
girl from the West coast in their university lobby.
ASHE
I’ve just seen a face
SAM
O.K Sir Paul McCartney
SYDNEY
Who’s face? My face?
ASHE
I’ve just seen the most beautiful
girl
SAM
There are literally beautiful
people wherever you go
(pauses) it’s actually kind of
intimidating
The three friends clutch their books and close their
laptops, ready to head into class.
ASHE
Where are we going to after
class?
SYDNEY
(Puts his arm around Sam’s
shoulders)
Canny girl’s over here, I’ll be
out at 8. Slan Agat.

3. Everyone separately disperses. There are
students everywhere in a hustle to get to
class.
EXT. THE STREET AT NIGHT- BUD STUY
Ashe and Sam walk down the street. Ashe holds a wine
bottle in her hand. Ashe sees a blonde girl and tries to
discern if its the same blonde girl she saw earlier in the
day. Ashe gets a bettered look and finds out she’s the
same girl as earlier.
ASHE
(Ashe grabs Sam’s body tight)
Hold this!
(Shoves the wine bottle in Sam’s
hands and kisses the floor while
Sam stares at her confused)
That’s the girl, that’s the girl
from the subway this morning!
SAM
Holy hell- me oh my, well hot and
heavy pumpkin pie, chocolate
candy, Jesus Christ. Go, go say
something to her
A parade of loud sirens blare loudly in the street, dozens
of ambulances and cops cars passing. Sam and Ashe look
out to the street for a few seconds and miss the blonde
girl going to the apartment complex next door to 7/11.
Ashe walks into 7/11 confidently. She’s not there.
INT. COFFEE CAFE, DOWNTOWN- NOON THE NEXT DAY
Ashe meets her mother Denise.
Ashe
How are you and dad?
Denise
(Speaks in a heavy Queens accent)
He's back on his shtick about how

4. he’s gonna revamp the garage and
turn the shed into a ‘she’-shed.
I says it’s way too much work, we
just moved in, what the hell do I
need it for?
Ashe
Ma let him do it for you- Holy
shit…
(points over to the blonde girl)
I’ve ran into this girl two times
yesterday, in different places I
swear to god it’s like she’s
following me.
Denise
(Pokes fun at Ashe, and they
laugh for a second)
Oh honey, she’s gorgeous, why
would she be stalking you?
Ashe puts coffee down, fixes hair, applies a layer of plum
lipstick and gets up from her chair abruptly. The server
behind Ashe spills a whole thing of hot steaming coffee on
her lap)
Ashe
(Whispers loudly under her
breath)
Fecking bloody hell!
Denise
(Grabs napkins and starts dabbing
them on Ashe’s pants)
You hangout out with an Irish boy
for one semester and start
speaking Gaelic. A gay Gaelic
truck driver is what you sound
like, ya know that?
The blonde girl is gone
EXT. CUBBY HOLE BAR- 2 A.M.
Ashe, Sam and Sydney are outside, while Sam and Sydney
smoke a cigarette. They laugh and laugh drunkenly. Ashe

5. sees the blonde girl who is with a couple of other girls
and head into the bar.
Ashe
(Motions to her friends to come
closer) She’s here. She’s here.
Sam
I don’t believe you.
(turns around to see the blonde
girl)
This girl is everywhere. If it’s
not fate, well
(pauses)
Fuck
Sydney
Go in, you can tongue her down.
Enough with the bitchin’ and
olagonin.
The bar is compact, tiny but full of flamboyant men and
dressed-up women. Ashe searches for the blonde girl in
and out of the crowd
Sydney
That’s her, isn’t it? Necking
with that other broad, in the
corner?
Ashe sees a silhouette of a slender woman with blonde hair
kissing another person and freezes. A couple of moments
later, they stop kissing and the blonde girl turns out to
be just a different woman who has blonde hair. Ashe
searches for the blonde girl some more and gives up. The
three friends dance together
FADE INT. TOMMY’S APARTMENT, UPTOWN AT 11 P.M.
Ashe, Sam play beer pong against Sydney and TOM, their
friend, at a house party in the Upper West Side of
Manhattan. They play Rumi with playing cards and talk to
eccentric looking people who are at the party.
Ashe
Be right back guys, need to pee!
Save my spot, save my spot!
(Looks at Sydney)

6. Do not even think about getting a
different partner, o.k?
Ashe is drunk on line for the bathroom and twirls her hair
while she checks her phone. Tame Impala’s ‘Feels Like We
Only Go Backwards’ blares in the background. Ashe sings
along quietly. The blonde girl turns around.
Blonde Girl
I love this song- don’t you?
Ashe stands still stunned, speechless, waits a second to
speak. The blonde girl goes into the bathroom while Ashe
finds Tom.
Ashe
(into phone)
Tell me the blonde girls name.
Instagram handle, fucking
facebook, anything! The
beautiful blonde girl?
TOMMY
Cassandra or Lily? Or Zander? My
friends are gorgeous. And they
are all blonde. You know what-
it’s probably Cassandra.
(Comes closer to Ashe and
whispers)
She is the prettiest of them.
Ashe
She looks like a Zander, I don’t
know, for fucks sake Tom,
introduce me to all of them
please.
TOMMY
(Speaks sarcastically) Well,
aren’t you just gonna woo them,
you ray of sunshine? Lucky
ladies they’ll be.
Against the white wall, stands Zander. Zander looks like
Avril Lavigne did in the early 2000’s with dirty blonde
hair with neon green and pink stripes. She wears heavy eye
makeup and smiles sinisterly. Ashe looks at Tommy and

7. shakes her head. Next is Lily. She’s sweet and has short
golden blonde hair. Lily wears high top red converse and
reminds Ashe of a girl she had a crush on in middle
school. Lily giggles and nervously touches her hand.
Lastly, Tom introduces Cassandra who is tall and thin. She
has platinum blonde hair and is wildly attractive. She has
a flower tattoo on her forearm and has a sweet voice Ashe
shakes her head again.
INT. THE 28TH SUBWAY STATION- A WEEK LATER
Ashe sees the blonde girl again. She looks at her with
love sick eyes.
RANDOM MAN
(Man reading newspapers speaks
without looking up from the
finance columns) If I were you, I
wouldn’t ever take this subway
again. Look around.
(Everyone stares at the blonde
girl, all entranced)
Just get off at a different
subway station.
(Man keeps reading newspaper)
