The document describes four different species of malkoha birds: the green-billed malkoha, which is found throughout South Asia and Southeast Asia and has bluish black coloring with white tail tips; the blue-faced malkoha, which is restricted to Sri Lanka and southern India and is a member of the cuckoo order; the sirkeer malkoha, which is a resident bird in the Indian subcontinent and is also in the cuckoo order; and the red-faced malkoha, which is endemic to Sri Lanka and part of the cuckoo order.
