Bharti Foundation Bharti Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Bharti Group Companies. The Foundation aims to help underprivileged children and young people of our country realize their potential. Satya Bharti School Program The Satya Bharti School Program is the flagship program of Bharti Foundation. It aims to deliver free quality education to underprivileged children, with special focus on the girl child across rural India. The program goal is to establish 500 Primary and 50 Senior Schools reaching out to over 200,000 students The promise of this large scale program, through its operation, is to create a  replicable, scalable and holistic model  of quality education in rural India   Present Operational Status: Number of Schools Operational: 250 States of Operation: Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal &  Tamil Nadu Number of Students Enrolled: Over 30,000 Introduction
Geographical Location   Biranwas is situated  at a distance of 22 km from NH-8 at the west of Satya Bharti’s District office at Neemrna. About the Community - This village is having   With a total population of 1607 In  301 no. of households. People of this village are dependent upon agriculture. Many of the villagers have also joined the Indian Army  .
Cultural Background : Majority of the  population belongs to Hindu   community .They followed Hindu rituals and traiditions. About the Community Dominant Caste in Village is Yadav.  women dressing style is Ghagra &  Odhni. Dhoti, Kurta/ Pant,shirt for Males.
Most of the younger and older people are illiterate   they don’t know about the importance of education We ‘Felt’: So still they are following traditional superstitious rituals We felt, we have to take an initia tive  start a program to educate them By doing this, we fill that this  will be important for coming generation and their own development
A good environment with literate people No illiterate male & female in the community Our children will live in good environment. We ‘Imagined’
Rally across the community Community motivation through home visit and goup meeting. Motivational street plays, songs and slogans. Shown plaque cards, posters and banners. We ‘Did’:
Community people have stepped forward. Some of literate people come forward as volunteer for our program. They are taking more interest at school activities after our programmer as the have started believing that Satya Bharti schools are also looking for the village development activities along with the School education. Impact on Community:
Satisfaction to work for our own village. Won community people’s trust. Motivated to work with simmilar issues in future. Intercted with some other problems of our community. Started searching more better ways to fight the same preoblem. Impact on Us:
Community members: - ”Aaj bachho ki rally ke baad mujhe ehsaas hua ki kaash mai bhi padaha likha hota to mai bhi inki madad karta ,par ab maine pran liya hai ki mai padhna shru karunga.”  - Ranveer Community member.  Teachers: - ”aaj sabhi aage aye aur gaon ke hit ke liye ye kadam uthaya. Gaon ka logo ke liye padhai kitni important hai aaj sabko ehsaas ho gay”.  - Jyoti Bal HT, Biranwas Experience of Community Members & Teachers:
Continuous follow up to the identified problem. More possible ways to find a better solution. Students will be counseled and taught to prevent these problems. Village women shall be kept into special consideration as they can bring significant changes. The Road Ahead….. (in the next 3 months)
