2) Five types of animal and plant cells and five possible functions of such cells are shown below.
Draw one straight line from each type of cell to a function of that cell.
3) Fig. 6.1 shows a plant cell from a leaf.
(a) State the letters for the three parts of this cell that only occur in plant cells.
(a) State precisely where palisade cells are found in a plant.
(b) State two differences in structure between this leaf cell and a root hair cell.
Explain the reason for each difference.
4) Explain what happens to a red blood cell when is placed in a concentrated solution.
