This document provides a summary of the launch of a biodiversity awareness programme at Chandler's Pen Primary and Junior High School in Clarendon, Jamaica. There were welcoming remarks from the school principal and representatives from the Institute of Jamaica, Ministry of Water, Land, Environment, and Clarendon Parish Council. Students performed poems and songs. A biodiversity center was unveiled with remarks from program partners Natural History Museum of Jamaica, TransJamaica Highway, and Jamaica Infrastructure Operator Ltd. The event concluded with viewing of the new biodiversity center and native garden.
