1) The President of Malawi visits his alma mater SRCC nearly 50 years after graduating. He recalls his positive experience at SRCC and DSE, where he obtained his BCom and Masters respectively.
2) Under the President's leadership, Malawi has experienced strong economic growth of 7.5% annually, higher than global and African averages. However, more needs to be done in areas like food security and farm technology to improve African living standards.
3) The President considers himself a "Delhiwala", meaning someone who treats all with warmth and kindness, as taught by the city of Delhi. He remains grateful to India for accepting him as a student and honoring him as AU Chairperson.
