OneVu is a Network Management System (NMS) that provides a single view of multi-vendor/multi-
technology network elements by integrating various self-discovery methods (as named with this intension), and
provides an automated provisioning across multi-vendor/multi-technology networks by interacting with vendors’
Element Management Systems(EMSs). OneVu is a part of the NISE Application, OneVu plays two roles like below,
To provide a capability of discovering network inventory and updating it in a real-time through the TMF
MTNM R2.0 CORBA interface with both IOS and MSP EMS’s. It is so called Southbound Interface (SBI).
Another role that OneVu plays is to provincial point to communicate with the EMS’s for service
provisioning purpose. This is called Northbound Interface (NBI) that allows NISE-SDI/NISE-C to request
