3. INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Bett
At Bett 2016, we shared an immense amount of knowledge and experience in just four days, often delivered
with humour and fun; which is a pretty accurate reflection of what education should be like. The 528
speakers and over 700 brands certainly played a major part in that. 34,500 educators visited the show and
you only had to walk past the Arena wall, illustrated with their stories, to see the passion at the show and in
the education community.
It was great to have so many learners getting actively involved at the show. They’re the ones whose
experience of education will be influenced by all this technology, and we think it’s vital that we allow
their voices to be heard. From hearing them speak on stage to having them judge the best stand at Bett
competition, they were certainly an inspiration.
As always, the show floor (all 39,500m² of it) was buzzing; a testament to how valuable it is to be able to
experience products and solutions then and there. I hope you will be there with us at Bett 2017!
Bett has a history of over 30 years. With each show comes a new experience, hence it
is trusted by the education community to provide exactly what’s needed at the time.
By continually adapting to the market, we ensure educators find the solutions they are
looking for and exhibitors meet the people who will really benefit from their products.

The working world is changing and education needs to
reflect that. Regardless of the career path that today’s
students choose, they’ll be expected to have skills in STEAM
areas. So, we went full steam ahead and built a village of
inspiration for educators, where they can physically develop
skills to take back to the classroom, through exhibits,
workshops, demos and seminars.
2016 exhibitors included:

putting the
Arts into STEM.

You may have developed the most revolutionary product in the world, but that’s just
the first hurdle. Demonstrating said product’s capabilities to the education market is
the next big step. Meeting customers and prospects needn’t be a time consuming
prospect. We don’t want you to have to travel for 100 days in order to talk to people
face to face – we want you to do the talking at Bett.
Whatever your objectives for the show and
beyond, we can work with you to develop a
bespoke solution.
“Over 30,000 people come to Bett because
they want to. We generated a lot of leads
