WELCOME TO
THE 9TH EDITION OF THE PWN PARIS BEST OF!
Dear Members, Partners, Sponsors and Friends,
It is a great honour for us to host this event in collaboration with the Fédération Française de Football.
A few years ago, who would have imagined a women’s network such as PWN Paris organising its flagship
event in a venue still very much associated with masculinity? This is telling us that society is changing and
our heartfelt gratitude goes to Noël Le Graët and Brigitte Henriques for extending such an invitation to our
network as it shows their engagement in reaching greater gender balance in the world of football.
And here we are today, celebrating together boldness and innovation. It fully made sense for us to choose
this theme because we all know that there are still many instances where, as women, we still need to break
internal as well as external barriers and dare to go beyond socially constructed models shaping our families,
our education, workplaces, and political institutions.  At PWN Paris we are profoundly convinced that inno-
vation and boldness are strongly linked and feed into each other. At the heart of innovation we find women
and men coming together to unite their ideas, embrace a leap of faith and be bold enough to take risks,
handle unpredictability and spark change!
Because tomorrow cannot just be an extrapolation of the past, throughout the day our ambition is to invite
all of us to pause, and dare to re-evaluate, update or even reinvent various aspects of our lives. And whatever
we take home at the end of day, let’s remember that there are no small beginnings. Let not our ambitions and
our aspirations remain in the pipe dream: let’s dare to live them, let’s BE BOLD & INNOVATE!

Daring diversity,
Being the guest of honour of this 9th edition of PWN Paris’ flagship forum is all the greater considering the
event will be held this year in the headquarters of the federation, a space where the word «feminine» really
holds all its value and significance.
For four years counting, I have had the incredible chance and pleasure of working towards the development
of women’s football. Thanks to the support and confidence of the entire federal institution, presided by Noël
le Graët, as well as with all the necessary resources at my disposal I have been able to reach the objectives
of our clearly defined policy.
Our progress in terms of our image, our national and international recognition, our responsibilities,
our sporting results and our increasing number of license-holders demonstrate concretely the FFF’s will
to prioritise gender diversity as a real asset for football. In reference to this year’s theme, one often needs a
lot of boldness to innovate and, thus, to move forward. Today, I can personally testify of this.

F like Feminine
It has long been said, mistakenly, that women do not like football. When one gives it some thought, it was
probably football that did not know how to be liked by women and how to treat them at fair value. We realise
today, and it is just the beginning, how much of a progressive benefit the feminisation of football has been
for our discipline, opening up new opportunities. However, the foundations for these advances had to be laid.
Our Federation is proud to be cited on a regular basis for its engagement and pioneering results in terms of
feminisation. The increasing feminisation of our legal bodies, administration, teams of executives, educa-
tors, referees, players and projects demonstrates our will to play a key role in this field in France and outside
its borders. The 2019 Women’s World Cup is the most precious proof of this.
Tomorrow, I am convinced; nobody will seek to oppose the feminine with the masculine practice of football.
Thanks to their ideas, their enthusiasm, their vision of sport and their own sensitivity women will have legi-
timately found their natural place in French football.

The world we live in today is in the midst of a deep
mutation. It is a world that presents more and more
complex challenges, which can instill fear, but which
can also hold the keys to many opportunities.
The realm of the possible is growing, as one can
witness through the development of collaborative
and participative economics, the evolving networks
around us, the discovery of sustainable renewable
energy sources, the use of 3D printing techniques...
In order to make the best out of this changing world
and to use it as a source of success, it is absolutely
necessary to learn how to overcome our barriers,
to surpass our fears: be an actor of change, question
the status quo, think outside the box...
Boldness and innovation allow to break free from
limitations and help to translate new ideas and
concepts into concrete actions.
The entire day has been specially conceived to allow
you to dive into this year’s theme in an interactive
way: around 2 plenary sessions and 16 workshops,
you will have the opportunity to learn from best
practices and real-life experiences and discover new
ways to think and dare.
THE BEST OF! 2015 GIVES YOU ALSO A UNIQUE CHANCE
TO MEET EXECUTIVES, ENTREPRENEURS AND EXPERTS FROM DIFFERENT
INDUSTRIES AND TO BROADEN YOUR NETWORK IN A RELAXED SETTING.
AN ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY EVENT
THE 9TH EDITION OF THE BEST OF! OF PWN PARIS IS DESIGNED TO BE A SUSTAINABLE EVENT
WITH A GOAL OF ZERO WASTE. THE EVENT IS ORGANISED AROUND THREE MAIN AXES:
No printed material will be used during the day
(everything is available electronically, notably thanks to the app specially developed for the occasion).
Organic products sourced sustainably will be used,
whether for the catering or during our leisure activities - our beauty therapists will use organic essential oils.
Finally, the objective is to have zero food waste at the end of the event:
use of real tableware (zero plastic), food surplus will be given to a charity and all organic
waste will be recycled into compost at the end of the event

MORNING
PLENARY
In a time when both corporations and society as a whole are trying to reinvent themselves,
how can boldness contribute to the transformation of established rules? Key speakers have
stepped up to share – irrespective of their professional sector: sports, industry, research and
development, science – their experience with boldness, to show how these experts managed
within their industry to create, support, and transform accepted models from the inside and
produce new mindsets for tomorrow’s society. This plenary will explore: which means to create
new paths, how to transform business models, how to positively disrupt our working environ-
ment to change our company’s and our own procedures on a long-term basis?

OLIVIER ARSENE
Business & Partnership @ BEYOND LAB
BeyondLab is the response to an observable fact: there
is a big gap between the different stakeholders of the
innovation industry. On the one hand we find
researchers and their technological ideas, and on the other
entrepreneurs able to develop and market those ideas.
BeyondLab aims to bring both together, hence
confronting brilliant ideas with business reality. As a result,
BeyondLab integrates researchers into the start-up community.
Olivier Arsene is in charge of the strategic development
and partnerships for BeyondLab. As a former professional
musician, he is perfectly aware of the importance of diversity
in competencies and skills.  He considers creativity as a major
driver of innovation.
Amongst other activities, he is also working on the development
of the new learning platform for the IRT NanoElec at Grenoble,
including innovative workspaces, pedagogy (such as gamifica-
tion) and technologies. He holds a diploma in management
of technology and innovation from Grenoble Business school.
Xavier Blot and Raphael Meyer, the 2 founders and respectively
president and vice-president of BeyondLab, are writing a thesis
on energy at the CEA.
FIAMMA FERRERO
President & CEO @ INWIBE
Fiamma Ferrero is co-founder and CEO of INWIBE and an asso-
ciate of TORINO NORD OVEST, a non-profit research association
specialised in social innovation.
INWIBE improves business collaboration between the actors
of innovation (startups, accelerators, applied research
laboratories ...) so that they achieve their ambitions, quickly
and jointly. Faced with a given issue, INWIBE identifies new
usages and new business models made possible by the available
talents and existing digital technologies. Then, INWIBE acts
as a creative orchestrator: identifying links between the
different companies and individuals to convert all available
skills into live projects and solutions, and all this with «seren-
dipity» («with good VIBEs»).
TORINO NORD OVEST is a non-profit organization that
delivers socio-economical research. Its activity focuses on the
analysis of social, cultural and sociological impact of business
and technological driven innovation (smart economy, sharing
economy, digital economy, management of cultural
diversity,competences,trainingrelatedaspectsofinnovationand
blurring boundaries between the public and private economy).
Fiamma graduated from the Turin Polytechnic, the Technische
Universität Darmstadt and she holds a MBA from the Collège
des Ingénieurs. After fifteen years of experience within large
industrial corporations and European digital service providers,
she decided to create her own start-up. Consultant, mentor and
entrepreneur, she relies on new growth management techniques
(«lean startup», «growth hacking») and her mastership of the
management challenges that are embedded in all innovation
and transformation programs.

SONIA SOUID
Sport Agent @ Essentially France
ODILE PANCIATICI
VP @ RENAULT
Sonia Souid is currently one of the few female sports agents
licensed by the French Football Federation. She follows her very
own, untypical path in life: she obtained her Scientific bacca-
laureate with a major in volleyball, then after 2 years of medi-
cal studies and a first job experience in luxury real estate, she
wanted to get back to her first love: sports.
Encouraged by her father, she participates in the competitive
exam to become a football agent. The preparation requires
4 months of non-stop revision and Sonia uses her discipline
acquired during her medical studies to pass the exam as the
only women.
She contacts all known names in the French football milieu, but
she is not let into the closed French Football circle. She then
decides to take advantage of her father’s network in the middle
east, where she successfully signs her first contracts (with the
most famous football player of UAE, Ismail MATAR), working
as a freelancer.
Since 2013, she works for CSM sport & entertainment.
Odile Panciatici has been a member of Renault since 1984, after
obtaining her Mechanical Engineering degree.
After 4 years as an Industrial Process Manager, she became
General Manager for design of plastic trim and Cockpit
architecture. Then she was body design General manager until
2000.
She participated in the beginning of the alliance with Nissan
as part of one of the first cross-company teams, mainly for the
first common platform.
She gained international experience as Chief engineer of the
first generation of Logan and Sandero launches in Romania,
Russia, India, Brazil.
She was also in charge of the Quality Assurance Direction for
Renault projects world-wide for 2 years.
After being Chief engineer of Twingo, Clio4 and Captur, she was
Vice-President of vehicle engineering for the design of all the
new Renault high range vehicles (Espace , Kadjar , …).
She received in Sept 2014 the “Woman in industry of the year”
award.
She is now Customer Satisfaction and Quality Vice President for
the Renault group.

AFTERNOON
PLENARY
Our society’s and economy’s evolutions have forced us to anticipate future transformations.
We need courage, conviction and boldness to take action, convince partners and succeed
in our business ventures. Major challenges are at stake when new business projects emerge
during societal transformations and these must bring solutions to tomorrow’s problems.
How to revolutionize engrained habits, models and dare to rupture with the culturally
accepted? Is this possible, desirable, inescapable ?

  • 3. Follows us on Twitter #BestOfPWN - @PWNParis and Facebook  3 WELCOME TO THE 9TH EDITION OF THE PWN PARIS BEST OF! Dear Members, Partners, Sponsors and Friends, It is a great honour for us to host this event in collaboration with the Fédération Française de Football. A few years ago, who would have imagined a women’s network such as PWN Paris organising its flagship event in a venue still very much associated with masculinity? This is telling us that society is changing and our heartfelt gratitude goes to Noël Le Graët and Brigitte Henriques for extending such an invitation to our network as it shows their engagement in reaching greater gender balance in the world of football. And here we are today, celebrating together boldness and innovation. It fully made sense for us to choose this theme because we all know that there are still many instances where, as women, we still need to break internal as well as external barriers and dare to go beyond socially constructed models shaping our families, our education, workplaces, and political institutions.  At PWN Paris we are profoundly convinced that inno- vation and boldness are strongly linked and feed into each other. At the heart of innovation we find women and men coming together to unite their ideas, embrace a leap of faith and be bold enough to take risks, handle unpredictability and spark change! Because tomorrow cannot just be an extrapolation of the past, throughout the day our ambition is to invite all of us to pause, and dare to re-evaluate, update or even reinvent various aspects of our lives. And whatever we take home at the end of day, let’s remember that there are no small beginnings. Let not our ambitions and our aspirations remain in the pipe dream: let’s dare to live them, let’s BE BOLD & INNOVATE! SANDY BEKY & MARTINE VAN WENT PWN Paris Presidents INTRODUCTION FROM OUR PWN PARIS PRESIDENTS
  • 4. Follows us on Twitter #BestOfPWN - @PWNParis and Facebook  4 Daring diversity, Being the guest of honour of this 9th edition of PWN Paris’ flagship forum is all the greater considering the event will be held this year in the headquarters of the federation, a space where the word «feminine» really holds all its value and significance. For four years counting, I have had the incredible chance and pleasure of working towards the development of women’s football. Thanks to the support and confidence of the entire federal institution, presided by Noël le Graët, as well as with all the necessary resources at my disposal I have been able to reach the objectives of our clearly defined policy. Our progress in terms of our image, our national and international recognition, our responsibilities, our sporting results and our increasing number of license-holders demonstrate concretely the FFF’s will to prioritise gender diversity as a real asset for football. In reference to this year’s theme, one often needs a lot of boldness to innovate and, thus, to move forward. Today, I can personally testify of this. BRIGITTE HENRIQUES General Secretary of the French Football Federation EDITORIAL BY THE FRENCH FEDERATION OF FOOTBALL (FFF)
  • 5. Follows us on Twitter #BestOfPWN - @PWNParis and Facebook  5 F like Feminine It has long been said, mistakenly, that women do not like football. When one gives it some thought, it was probably football that did not know how to be liked by women and how to treat them at fair value. We realise today, and it is just the beginning, how much of a progressive benefit the feminisation of football has been for our discipline, opening up new opportunities. However, the foundations for these advances had to be laid. Our Federation is proud to be cited on a regular basis for its engagement and pioneering results in terms of feminisation. The increasing feminisation of our legal bodies, administration, teams of executives, educa- tors, referees, players and projects demonstrates our will to play a key role in this field in France and outside its borders. The 2019 Women’s World Cup is the most precious proof of this. Tomorrow, I am convinced; nobody will seek to oppose the feminine with the masculine practice of football. Thanks to their ideas, their enthusiasm, their vision of sport and their own sensitivity women will have legi- timately found their natural place in French football. NOËL LE GRAËT President of the French Football Federation  EDITORIAL BY THE FRENCH FEDERATION OF FOOTBALL (FFF)

  • 8. 8 Follows us on Twitter #BestOfPWN - @PWNParis and Facebook  The world we live in today is in the midst of a deep mutation. It is a world that presents more and more complex challenges, which can instill fear, but which can also hold the keys to many opportunities. The realm of the possible is growing, as one can witness through the development of collaborative and participative economics, the evolving networks around us, the discovery of sustainable renewable energy sources, the use of 3D printing techniques... In order to make the best out of this changing world and to use it as a source of success, it is absolutely necessary to learn how to overcome our barriers, to surpass our fears: be an actor of change, question the status quo, think outside the box... Boldness and innovation allow to break free from limitations and help to translate new ideas and concepts into concrete actions. The entire day has been specially conceived to allow you to dive into this year’s theme in an interactive way: around 2 plenary sessions and 16 workshops, you will have the opportunity to learn from best practices and real-life experiences and discover new ways to think and dare. THE BEST OF! 2015 GIVES YOU ALSO A UNIQUE CHANCE TO MEET EXECUTIVES, ENTREPRENEURS AND EXPERTS FROM DIFFERENT INDUSTRIES AND TO BROADEN YOUR NETWORK IN A RELAXED SETTING. AN ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY EVENT THE 9TH EDITION OF THE BEST OF! OF PWN PARIS IS DESIGNED TO BE A SUSTAINABLE EVENT WITH A GOAL OF ZERO WASTE. THE EVENT IS ORGANISED AROUND THREE MAIN AXES: No printed material will be used during the day (everything is available electronically, notably thanks to the app specially developed for the occasion). Organic products sourced sustainably will be used, whether for the catering or during our leisure activities - our beauty therapists will use organic essential oils. Finally, the objective is to have zero food waste at the end of the event: use of real tableware (zero plastic), food surplus will be given to a charity and all organic waste will be recycled into compost at the end of the event BEST OF! 2015 PRESENTATION

On the one hand we find researchers and their technological ideas, and on the other entrepreneurs able to develop and market those ideas. BeyondLab aims to bring both together, hence confronting brilliant ideas with business reality. As a result, BeyondLab integrates researchers into the start-up community. Olivier Arsene is in charge of the strategic development and partnerships for BeyondLab. As a former professional musician, he is perfectly aware of the importance of diversity in competencies and skills.  He considers creativity as a major driver of innovation. Amongst other activities, he is also working on the development of the new learning platform for the IRT NanoElec at Grenoble, including innovative workspaces, pedagogy (such as gamifica- tion) and technologies. He holds a diploma in management of technology and innovation from Grenoble Business school. Xavier Blot and Raphael Meyer, the 2 founders and respectively president and vice-president of BeyondLab, are writing a thesis on energy at the CEA. FIAMMA FERRERO President & CEO @ INWIBE Fiamma Ferrero is co-founder and CEO of INWIBE and an asso- ciate of TORINO NORD OVEST, a non-profit research association specialised in social innovation. INWIBE improves business collaboration between the actors of innovation (startups, accelerators, applied research laboratories ...) so that they achieve their ambitions, quickly and jointly. Faced with a given issue, INWIBE identifies new usages and new business models made possible by the available talents and existing digital technologies. Then, INWIBE acts as a creative orchestrator: identifying links between the different companies and individuals to convert all available skills into live projects and solutions, and all this with «seren- dipity» («with good VIBEs»). TORINO NORD OVEST is a non-profit organization that delivers socio-economical research. Its activity focuses on the analysis of social, cultural and sociological impact of business and technological driven innovation (smart economy, sharing economy, digital economy, management of cultural diversity, competences, trainingrelatedaspectsofinnovationand blurring boundaries between the public and private economy). Fiamma graduated from the Turin Polytechnic, the Technische Universität Darmstadt and she holds a MBA from the Collège des Ingénieurs. After fifteen years of experience within large industrial corporations and European digital service providers, she decided to create her own start-up. Consultant, mentor and entrepreneur, she relies on new growth management techniques («lean startup», «growth hacking») and her mastership of the management challenges that are embedded in all innovation and transformation programs.

She follows her very own, untypical path in life: she obtained her Scientific bacca- laureate with a major in volleyball, then after 2 years of medi- cal studies and a first job experience in luxury real estate, she wanted to get back to her first love: sports. Encouraged by her father, she participates in the competitive exam to become a football agent. The preparation requires 4 months of non-stop revision and Sonia uses her discipline acquired during her medical studies to pass the exam as the only women. She contacts all known names in the French football milieu, but she is not let into the closed French Football circle. She then decides to take advantage of her father’s network in the middle east, where she successfully signs her first contracts (with the most famous football player of UAE, Ismail MATAR), working as a freelancer. Since 2013, she works for CSM sport & entertainment. Odile Panciatici has been a member of Renault since 1984, after obtaining her Mechanical Engineering degree. After 4 years as an Industrial Process Manager, she became General Manager for design of plastic trim and Cockpit architecture. Then she was body design General manager until 2000. She participated in the beginning of the alliance with Nissan as part of one of the first cross-company teams, mainly for the first common platform. She gained international experience as Chief engineer of the first generation of Logan and Sandero launches in Romania, Russia, India, Brazil. She received in Sept 2014 the “Woman in industry of the year” award. She is now Customer Satisfaction and Quality Vice President for the Renault group.
