Bergen is the second largest city in Norway, located along the southwestern coast. It has a population of around 263,900 people and is surrounded by seven mountains within an area of 465 square kilometers. Bergen serves as the administrative center of Hordaland county and is an important cultural and economic hub as well as a major port city.
