The Bengal tiger is found primarily in India but also in Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, China, and Myanmar, with only around 2,500 remaining in the wild. Poaching and habitat loss are major threats, so we must urge protection of the tigers and their natural habitats to ensure the species is preserved. Conserving tigers has wide-ranging benefits for surrounding ecosystems that support both wildlife and human communities.
