In 2044, participants enter a techhistory holodeck for an immersive experience of university life in 2014, showcasing the technological advancements and cultural differences of the period. Attendees will remember their 2044 knowledge but may experience challenges due to the historical digital divide. The experience is facilitated by a holographic connector and features past technologies such as hand-held devices and social media platforms.

Once affixed you’ll achieve complete immersion in
a university campus of 2014 – eg you’ll be wearing
2014 fashion. You’ll remember everything from
2044, but not all of you have the same skills in
2014, because at that time there was what they
called a “digital divide”.
