Students in Behlolpur village felt their community needed better sanitation practices to promote public health, as many residents were becoming ill from waste being thrown openly due to low literacy on hygiene. The students surveyed the village and saw piles of trash, then led an initiative to clean up the area while educating villagers on the importance of cleanliness. The community members agreed to maintain cleanliness and dispose of waste properly outside of living areas going forward to build a healthier environment.

2. Students felt the need of cleanliness in the village, since the people of the village threw waste in an open area. Due to low literacy rate people are not aware of ill effects of unhygienic conditions. Also because of lack of cleanliness many people suffer from various diseases. Thus students felt the need of cleanliness in the village.

3. We imagined a village where people live healthy life without diseases that happen because of unhygienic condition in the village.

4. In order to know the actual facts, students took the round of the village. Students saw the heap of waste. Then after the discussion students took the initiative to clean the village. They interacted with the community members & spread awareness regarding the importance of cleanliness. Community members promised to join the hands & to contribute for the cause.

5. Impact Students Decided to keep themselves as well as their village clean & tidy for healthy life. Women also promised not to throw the waste in the open. They chose a place out of living area in the village to dispose the waste.
