The First Customer Program (FCP) provides assistance to technology startups to address gaps in business development, marketing, and sales. The conservative payback period for the state's investment is estimated to be 2 years and 2 months, while the optimistic payback period is 1 year and 4 months, based on income and sales tax from new jobs as well as corporate tax from increased revenue.
