Pastors Group Facilitator: MG G.K.N Mmolotsa 24
❖ The training and saving of our children and youth is one of the
most important missions of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
- Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is
old, he will never depart from it (Proverbs 22:6)
❖ Children’s brains are formed by the time they reach 12 years.
❖ It is crucial for them to be taught good habits in the early years
25. Philosophy
25
“The highest of all sciences is the science of soul saving. The
greatest work to which human beings can aspire, is the work of
winning men from sin to holiness. For accomplishment of this
work, a broad foundation must be laid. A comprehensive
education is needed.” (Ministry of Healing, 398)
Pastors Group Facilitator: MG G.K.N Mmolotsa
27. Purpose

❖ Fulfil the message in Malachi 4:6 in which the “Hearts of
parents are turned towards their children, and the hearts of
the children are turned towards their parents.”
❖ Provides a key educational programme of a church, for it

30. Summary
No matter how hard one tries, the story
gets abbreviated, lost in time, less and
precise.
While it is easy to reduce the story to a
few names and dates, we should not
forget that many people who loved God
put their life’s efforts into Pathfinder
cache.
They were the ropes and pulleys that
have held this organization together.
