                                                                    .
go through some baseball tips and baseball drills to make you a better hitter.

Using Baseball Training Aids

I have never been too big on using baseball training aids. If you must use training aids then the main
                                                     aids.
ones I recommend are a hit stick and a skinny bat. The skinny bats go by many different names, but their
main purpose is to work on your eye hand coordination. When doing youth baseball drills, this is a great
                                                                                        drill
baseball training aid as youngsters don't always have their eye hand coordination yet. When used in
combination with the hit stick, a young baseball player will quickly being seeing the ball which is the
      nation
most important aspect of hitting a baseball.

Baseball Hitting Drills with the Tee and Soft Toss

My 2 favorite baseball hitting drills are Tee work and soft toss. Working with the Tee and soft toss may
not seem all that great of a drill, but it allows the player to work on several things without worrying
about timing and location. If you cannot hit the ball in soft toss or off a tee then you won't be able to hit
a pitched ball. Use the tee and soft toss to work on eye hand coordination, grip, step, forward
movements, pivot, head and hands. I'll go over all of this later but remember the eyes always need to be
on the ball.
Why You Need Baseball Coaching Experienced With Baseball Hitting Drills

Some of the best baseball instruction you can get will come from someone other than your coach. I
recommend finding someone in your local community that can be your mentor. You should purchase a
high quality hitting instruction package and give it to your mentor. Have them read over and watch all
the videos and then allow them to instruct you on the proper hitting mechanics and the best baseball
hitting drills.
