Iterative methods for the solution of systems of linear equationsNORAIMA
This document discusses iterative methods for solving systems of linear equations, including the Jacobi, Gauss-Seidel, and relaxation methods. The Jacobi method solves square systems of equations by determining a recurrence equation and iterating to approach the solutions. The Gauss-Seidel method finds an approximate solution in each iteration that gets more accurate with repeated applications if the system converges. Relaxation methods include under-relaxation and over-relaxation parameters to improve the convergence of the Gauss-Seidel method.

This document provides an overview of the state of the press in Indonesia from 1998 to 2009. It discusses how press freedom greatly increased after the fall of the Suharto regime in 1998, with laws and regulations enacted that removed government control over publications. However, while the number of publications skyrocketed in the early reform period, many lacked resources and competence, and over 1,000 folded within a few years. By 2008 the number of print publications had stabilized at around 1,008, but circulation growth was still modest. The broadcast media also expanded significantly in the reform era, though the print industry remained dominated by long-established players. Overall the report examines the growth of media outlets and press freedom in Indonesia since 1998, noting
