The Folger Shakespeare Library is located in Washington, D.C. and houses the world's largest collection of Shakespeare materials, including 82 copies of the First Folio printed in 1623. The library also has collections of other rare Renaissance books, manuscripts, drawings, and artifacts. In addition to its special collections, the Folger also has an education program and theater for performances of Shakespeare's plays.
