Workers at Fox TV stations in several major cities are uniting to protest management's rollback of wages, jurisdiction, and benefits during ongoing contract negotiations. Despite significant revenue growth, Fox executives are reducing compensation for behind-the-scenes technicians who contribute to the stations' success. The unions are calling for respectful negotiations and urging the public to support fair contracts for these workers.

1. FOX-TV: BAD NEWS FOR WORKERS!
The International Alliance of Theatrical and Stage Employees (IATSE), the International
Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), and the National Association of Broadcast Employees
and Technicians-Communications Workers of America (NABET-CWA) are standing together at FOX
TV stations in Chicago, Detroit, New York, Philadelphia, Washington and Los Angeles to inform
viewers that “FOX-TV is bad news for workers!”
Negotiations have been dragging on for several months at WFLD, WNYW/WWOR, WTTG/WDCA,
WTXF, and KTTV/KCOP, and will begin soon at WJBK. FOX management has insisted on turning
back the clock on wages, jurisdiction, and benefits. Despite double digit revenue increases in recent
years and status as the top-rated TV station group in the industry, Fox executives are now stripping
away the wages and benefits of the behind-the-scenes technicians who have made and continue to
make these TV stations successful.
Today, we are standing united to send a clear message to FOX-TV executives. Our families deserve
a fair contract in each city, and we deserve to be treated with respect.
