AC/DC was founded in 1973 in Australia. Their early lineup included bassist Larry van Kriedt, vocalist Dave Evans, and drummer Colin Burguess. Bon Scott later replaced Dave Evans as lead singer in 1974 and helped the band develop a more aggressive sound. Their album Highway to Hell, released in 1979, was their most popular at the time, selling over 1 million copies. However, Bon Scott died in 1980. Brian Johnson then joined as the new lead vocalist. The band continues to perform hard rock music that makes their fans feel euphoric and energetic.
