This document outlines the upcoming assignments and tasks for coursework B351. Students will complete a performance assessment, commentary, and composition. They will record performances on Tuesdays and Wednesdays according to a timetable. When not recording, students will plan and prepare "sketches" for their composition by considering elements like structure, techniques, and mood that they will employ and why. They will also draft an opening melodic phrase and accompaniment details.

How does this relate to your song?
 What will the mood/style of your piece be and
how will you use your instrument to achieve
this?

6.  Style? Perhaps influenced by your
composition? Eg Blues, jazz, classical (?), or
simply just a flute and piano piece etc
 Structure and keys
 Melodic ideas? 2-4 bar opening phrase?
 Accompaniment? Chords? Style of
accompaniment?
