Nickson was born in Siniloan, Laguna and still lives there today. He attends Laguna State Polytechnic University and lives with his grandmother on his father's side, as his parents separated when he was in third grade. Nickson describes himself as a fresh graduate of Siniloan National High School who is now a college student studying Bachelor of Secondary Education majoring in mathematics. He finds life meaningful through friends and family who he can trust and rely on for support.

That means I do have some sad days or depressed days. I have a few frinds here that sort of look out for me and when I am having a bad day, I have someone here at school to talk to. I make my school days go by thinking of either the next hour or what I will do when I get home or on the weekend. Our favorite places to go were the movies and out to dinner. Sometimes we went to the computer shop. What's my outlook on the future.The year 2014 will make twenty years since I graduated from College. I think I will probably be still living here in Siniloan. I will be quite comfortable with my living situation.
