This document discusses conjunctions in English and provides examples of different types. It explains that conjunctions are linking words used to connect ideas and information in sentences. It then lists and defines common conjunctions like either...or, neither...nor, both...and, not only...but also. Examples are given for each conjunction. Several types of conjunctions are also defined, such as adversative, consecutive, concessive, and explanatory conjunctions. Finally, a lengthy list of additional conjunctions is provided along with examples of usage.
Voz verbal, em linguística, refere-se à relação entre sujeito e verbo sob o aspecto de quem recebe e quem pratica uma ação.
Na maioria dos casos, o sujeito (na voz ativa) é a entidade que efetua ou desencadeia uma ação, e o objeto é uma entidade que sofre passivamente algum efeito da ação.
Formas de Utilização da Voz Passiva (Passive Voice):
Quando se pretende destacar a ação em si, e não quem a praticou;
Quando se quer dar ênfase ao objeto;
Quando não sabemos o sujeito que pratica a ação.

A clause comes in four types; independent, dependent, relative or noun clause. Every clause has at least a subject and a verb. An independent clause, also called a main clause, is a clause that can stand on its own. It contains all the information necessary to be a complete sentence.

Tenses demonstrate the time of an action in a sentence usually performed by or centered around the subject of the sentence. The actions are called verbs. Verbs change according to tenses and other issues. As verbs are the most important elements of English sentences, tenses also carry paramount importance in English grammar. In this Power Point Presentation I clearly discussed about the Tenses and its types in very detailed manner. Please use this Power Point Presentation for your reference purpose.
In 2003 I had prepared this presentation on basic rules of English Language. There are a few points we mostly get confused and look for gramatical rules, so I had tried to collect all under one umbrella for everyone's ease. Being shared with all. :) Do correct me if you find faults. Thanks.
