A survey was conducted to help design a new magazine. Most respondents said they enjoy singing in their spare time, so an article on singing will be included. Playing instruments was less popular than singing, so only a brief mention of instruments will be included rather than a full article. When asked to choose between four masthead designs, all respondents selected the same "Classical" design. Asking about what catches readers' eyes when choosing a magazine helped inform the overall design to attract readers' attention on store shelves.
