1. SMART HOME SERVICE ROBOT APPLYING SELF-
ADAPTATION TECHNOLOGIES
Abstract
Smart home service robot(S-HSR) is a robot used for
household chores on behalf of human. Human desires to get
free of household affairs have increased the necessity of S-
HSR. In the near future, every home will atleast possess and
use more than one S-HSR.
Introduction
Household chores at home are boredom and time consuming
jobs. The desire to avoid chores makes smart home service
robot(S-HSR) moves around everywhere at home to achieve
predefined its function. However the real world such as a house
is not entirely predictable, so that S-HSR is operated in a
house must be smart and reliable to unexpected conditions and
adaptable to system failures. In this paper we focus on new
and innovative approaches for building, running and managing
S-HSR are strongly needed.
