The goal of the ATLAS project is to achieve a new level of interoperability for agricultural machines, sensors, and data services through developing an open, distributed, and scalable data platform based on microservices. This platform will be tested on real agricultural operations across Europe in four use cases: precision agriculture, sensor-driven irrigation, data-based soil management, and livestock behavioral analysis. The ATLAS project aims to simplify processes from farm to fork by involving all food chain actors and establishing new sustainable business models for farmers based on innovative data services.
