What is a Business Requirement
• Business identifies the need for a new function or feature and creates a Business Requirement
• The Business requirement contains information about the function to be implemented, including
attachments and links to supporting documents
• Business Requirement are generally identified with a Business Process and are higher-level in nature
What is an IT Requirement
• An IT Requirement can be created directly or from a Business Requirement
• When an IT Requirement is created, it is analyzed to determine whether the required function or feature
can or should be implemented
