ASTRA 3B is a satellite located at 23.5°E that provides DTH and DTC broadcast services across Europe and the Middle East using 60 Ku-band and 4 Ka-band transponders. Launched in 2010, it has a launch mass of 5,460 kg and is operated by EADS Astrium to deliver high-speed internet access through the ASTRA2Connect platform in addition to television channels. Its coverage areas include European and Middle Eastern footprints.
