This paper is a demonstration of what you have learned about moral reasoning based on our examining of ethical theories and specific ethical issues. As such, you should focus your attention on carefully spelling out the reasoning that supports your conclusion, and
relating
that to the theories we have discussed in class.
You are free to write on the same topic and question you wrote on in previous papers or choose a different topic and question.
If you choose a different topic, you
would
benefit from going through the Week One Assignment exercises.
For a list of acceptable topics to start with, see the options from the list of topics available in the online course. If you are still unsure of your topic or of how properly to focus it
into
a relevant ethical question, you are strongly encouraged to consult with your instructor.
You are free to draw upon the work you did in previous papers, and reuse parts that you feel were strong, but you are not to simply recycle the previous papers. This paper should reflect the culmination of the development of your thoughts on this issue, and
many of the requirements for the final paper cannot be satisfied by a heavily recycled paper
.
The consideration of an objection
against
your own view is a way of showing that your view has the support of good reasons and can answer its strongest objections. Therefore, aim at identifying and addressing the strongest opposing argument you can, bearing in mind that a good thesis should be able to respond to the best arguments for the other side.
Thesis Statement
The thesis statement is more than just a position statement of the sort you provided in the first assignment; rather, it states the position and the primary reasons in such a way that the reader should have a clear sense of how the reasons support the position, which is what will be spelled out and explained in the body of the paper. Annotated Bibliography is a genre of writing in academia that works to show your awareness of what others have written about a topic. The work done in an AB, including introducing the authors with brief intellectual biographies; explicating the main claims and concepts; tracing the argument and its evidence; evaluating the source; and discussing its stakes and implications gives some context to the course reading you choose to research and situates the course reading into a research topic by indicating the intellectual conversations you are entering. The point of this assignment is to practice research skills but also to dig a little deeper into 4 of our readings using research. For this assignment:Writing Task
1. Compile an Annotated Bibliographyof five scholarly sources, including one entry for Gayle Rubin’s “Thinking Sex” and 4 more scholarly sources based on researching sources that are connected to one (the deep dive) or more of our course readings. See the next page for the specific AB entry format.

· “Scholarly” means peer-reviewed articles from academic journals or chapters in books written by experts in a field and not wikis, encyclopedias, newspapers, popular magazines/media, blogs, websites, etc. (see the Library Guide on what constitutes a scholarly source).
· “Connected” means that each of your researched, scholarly sources must be connection to a course reading in some way. You can either find a source that engages or discusses the particular critical essay or cultural text from the course calendar or you can do research on a topic or theme that is brought up in or similar to the course reading. Whatever you decide, you’ll explain the connection in your quote analysis.

In this course, philosophical thinking and reasoning are introduced through the evaluation of the historical development, key contributors, and principle issues of philosophy. Topical areas include both Western and Eastern philosophy, moral and political philosophy, religious philosophy, and feminism.

This project is worth 10% of your final grade, due March 27, 2015. It is an individual assignment. Late assignments are penalized 5% per day including weekends to a maximum of 50%. Senate regulations require all term work to be submitted by the last day of classes April 8, 2015, after which work cannot be accepted and a grade of 0 will be given.
Write a 750-1200 word argumentative essay related to the topic of the responsibility of affluent nations and their citizens to people without even basic sustenance, discussed in Peter Singer’s paper “Famine, Affluence, and Morality.”
In your essay, you must make reference to Singer’s paper “Famine, Affluence, and Morality” and the paper you read in producing the annotated bibliography in Assignment #17. Both papers must be listed in your bibliography. Other sources may also be referenced but this is not required, though all sources used must be listed in the bibliography. Your project must begin with a standard form representation of your argument followed by a diagram of the argument, using between 10-15 premises. Your argument must include at least one deductive inference and one inductive inference and these must be identified (by type) and indicated on your diagram (i.e. on the arrow connecting the premises note “disjunctive syllogism” or “analogy”).
Quotations should be referenced in the text as follows:
“text” (author year, page number(s)). Note the final punctuation comes after the reference. If a text has to be altered slightly for grammatical reasons put the changes in square brackets.
E.g. Here we have some text I have written followed by a quote to verify my interpretation. If you wish to emphasize part of the quote use italics and note “my emphasis”, otherwise you might commit the fallacy of accent. Fodor’s account of early language learning is an account of predicate acquisition and it remains the cornerstone for his thesis that we possess an innate representational system as rich as any natural language we can learn. “What, then is being denied?... that one can learn a language whose predicates express extensions not expressible by predicates of the representational system whose employment mediates the learning” (Fodor 1975, p.86, emphasis in original).
Include a bibliography, citing all sources used to write the essay as instructed for Assignment #17.

Topical areas include both Western and Eastern philosophy, moral and political philosophy, religious philosophy, and feminism.

Introduction
The Surface Warfare Officers School (SWOS) trains students to successfully serve as leaders in the U.S. Navy as experts in Surface Navy and eventually commanding officers at sea. SWOS students, or Ensigns, are responsible for memorizing the information in a detailed manual. The manual often referred to as the Shipboard’s Systems Matrix or Threat Matrix, contains information about combat fleets around the world. Ensigns are expected to learn the materials and master the Threat Matrix on their own accord with little formal classroom instruction. Mastery is measured by a multiple choice exam given to ensigns.

Introduction
In the most straightforward terminology, the strategic planning process is the technique that administrations exercise to improve and develop strategies to attain a complete, and lasting objectives. Communication between departments is a key factor in having this goal come to fruition.
The total reason and point of strategic management are to grow an ongoing pledge to the task and vision of the company together within and in the sanctioning atmosphere, cultivate a philosophy that recognizes and supports the task and vision, and will uphold a strong attention of the establishment’s strategic outline during all its conclusionary developments and actions.
Communication is one of the key goals in any organization. It is especially important in the Florida Department of Corrections. Some of the key factors in effective communication in any agency be it law enforcement or not, is respect, transparency, and clarity. It is also important to know the non-verbal and verbal ways to communicate with another person. Body language is much more important than people think it is.

The mission statement for our department is based on several factors. Short term goals, long term goals, remodel strategies and objectives into quantifiable measures and achievements for each agency operating area, and to developing a joint way of thinking by involving state-of-the-art approaches to assure the protection and security of the staff, inmates, and the communities. Part of the mission is also to be able to apply programs on every level needed throughout the Florida Corrections Department. providing the safety and professional community with the purpose of decreasing victimization allowing a safer way of life

Florida Department of Corrections takes the safety of the community as the main focus. Making sure that our staff is able to provide security in and out of the facility which starts with helping to provide inmates with opportunities for the successful reentry into society and capitalizing on partn.

Utilize your understanding of the patient engagement framework, instructional materials, and textbooks to describe your vision of the patient engagement of the future. Your description should address the following:
-Patient engagement framework
-At least 3 takeaways from Eric Topol’s book (The Patient Will See You Now)
-At least 3 takeaways from Jan Oldenburg’s book (Participatory Healthcare)
-What patient engagement process redesign should be considered?
-What type of software and hardware would be involved to optimize the redesigned process for patient engagement?
-What technology (such as infrastructure, applications, mobile device, cloud, telehealth, remote monitoring, sensoring, etc.) should be considered?
-Explain how your vision of patient engagement in the future will encourage patients to be more involved in their own healthcare.
-The value of the redesigned patient engagement How do you measure the ROI (from patient satisfaction, clinical outcome, operations, administrative savings, financial gains, etc.)? ROI assumptions, calculations and numbers should be reasonable, practical and supported with solid reasoning.
The project will be submitted as a final paper in Word and should adhere to the following:
-10-15 pages long (excluding the title page, TOC, reference, and appendix (if any)
-Follow APA style (e.g., double space, margin, etc.). Please refer to the APA style within the syllabus.
-Articulation of the description, vision, and reasoning of patient engagement of the future should be supported by comprehensive review of people, process and technology, creativity, and innovative thinking.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.

We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering.
