This document describes Jasmine King's process for developing a brandmark and design system for a fictional organization called Osheark. It details her exploration of logo concepts from initial sketches to a final logo incorporating a triangular shape and curved wave silhouette. Color and typography choices are also presented alongside examples of applying the logo to a t-shirt design with a manipulated stock image on the back.

I like the triangular shape of this shark fin design but think it is too literal and specific to my theme. I want to incorporate
something curved/rounded to give it a more universal look that could have more of a general marine theme.
27. Logo:Version 2

I curved the shark fin to create a more wave like appearance and took away some of the smaller shapes from it it to
keep it simple, however I still think a more rounded shape or shapes should be added to create more of an emblem.
28. Logo:Version 3

I like the thin outlined circle surrounding the main design but feel that its too simple and looks unfinished. I still feel
that I can add something more curved or ocean specific to it, with more color as well.

I chose to cut off part of the circle and draw in a silhouette of a wave. I added in the blue gradient which fits in well with
the theme. I think both the triangular and curved shapes work well together and relate to what the organization does.
30. Logo: Final Logo

I chose to cut off part of the circle and draw in a silhouette of a wave. I added in the blue gradient which fits in well with
the theme and removed the outlines. I think both the triangular and curved shapes work well together and relate to what
the organization does.

I chose the Century Schoolbook font in Bold Italic because it is simple and easy to read, and has a similar flow/curve as
the wave in the logo design.
